The factory license application is filed online through the Goa Online system and contains applicant details, factory details, document upload, fee payment and departmental verification.

1. Documentary/objective evidence in respect of compliance to the conditions, if any, laid during approval of factory plans.

3. Factory details as required under the Factories Act, 1948.
4. Details required for payment of applicable government fee.
5. Any other supporting document required by the Inspectorate of Factories and Boilers.

Factory License fee is applicable under the Goa Factories Rules, 1985.

The fee is calculated based on the quantity of H.P. installed and the maximum number of workers to be employed on any day during the year.

The factories registered under the Factories Act, 1948 shall undergo physical inspection by the Inspector of Factories based on risk classification.

Mandatory inspection shall be conducted where a fatal accident, serious accident, dangerous occurrence or specific complaint / grievance is received regarding violation of law during the year.
